About Us
Auroboutique, is a Unit of Sri Aurobindo Ashram Udyog Trust. The trust handles all the commercial units of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry.
Auroboutique was started by the blessings of The Mother on 12.05.1969 to sell items made by the Ashram inmates. After the demise of the devotee who looked after Auroboutique, it was closed for a long period. Then Auroboutique was restarted on 15th January 2006, with the intention to sell Sri Aurobindo Handmade Paper Factory Products, Ashram Agarbathies, Soaps, Perfumes, Ayurvedic Products, and many other products made by Sri Aurobindo Ashram Departments and devotees of the Ashram.
At Auroboutique, variety of elite and high quality Sri Aurobindo Ashram made products are available in store and online.
Our Handmade Paper products made from cotton rags and wool are eco friendly and help to protect our forests and to create an environment friendly world
Sri Aurobindo Ashram Products are recognized in India and abroad for their excellent quality and creative and aesthetic beauty.
We strive for excellence in whatever we do and all our Agarbathies are in compliance with the guidelines of I.F.R.A. (International Fragrance Assocition-Geneva Switzerland)
Auroboutique also offers meaningful employment to local people and excellent working conditions. No child labour is employed in any of our Units.
